FOUNDERS

I'm David Reed, Founder and Executive Director of Assured Senior Living Solutions. 

At a young age, David Reed, a Central Valley, California native, knew his calling: To help people overcome life’s challenges. He worked multiple summers, as a YMCA Camp Chickasaw camp counselor, helping kids with developmental disabilities. He also gravitated towards opportunities to perform social work projects in underdeveloped countries. After graduating college in Joplin, Missouri, David returned to Clovis with his wife, Rachel, to be close to family, and then enrolled and completed a state program for activity directors for the elderly. Subsequently, he went on to receive the State of California Residential Care for the Elderly Certificate. In management roles at Bel Haven Care and Valley Caregiver Resource Center, David developed a passion for supporting families caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s and other cognitive disorders.

David’s entrepreneurial spirit supports our community. He re-launched The Aging Network Central Valley (TAN), a network of senior care professionals that offer support by networking with industry peers. David is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Valley Caregiver Resource Center as well as the Alzheimer’s Disease Association of Kern County. He is honored to serve as a Clovis Chamber Ambassador since 2017, delighted to help other local community members lay the groundwork for success.

I'm Rachel Reed, Lead Senior Care Specialist for Assured Senior Living Solutions. 

Rachel Reed lives by the principle that people come first, always. With over 17 years of experience in social services case management and service coordination, her goal is to honor each person that she serves by providing them with appropriate living options and community resources to fit their situation. She works hand-in-hand with her husband and co-founder of Assured Senior Living Solutions, David Reed, to provide services that reach the entire spectrum of senior needs: from independence to memory care, to palliative care services, and everything in between.

As a Central Valley native, raised in the Fresno Clovis area, Rachel developed a compassion for local community service. After she received her degree in Psychology from Tennessee’s Lee University, graduating Summa Cum Laud, she returned with David to be close to family and serve her home community that she loves. Rachel knows her community and local resources inside and out, which enables her to easily provide answers to appropriately assess, advocate, and assist families. Rachel emphasizes education and advocacy to promote and refer families to programs that keep them in-the-know about senior issues. As a mandated reporter, she works to guide you in the right direction and will report any instances of Medicare/Medi-Cal fraud, and senior neglect/abuse to law enforcement and Community Care Licensing. You are in good hands with Rachel.
